If Xoom will start, run Diagnostic Snapshot from the command line. This tool, which is a part of a standard Xoom installation, creates a corpus (captured communication between Xoom service and the managed system) and other diagnostic information that Zany Ants can use to diagnose the problem.

  1. Open the command prompt with administrative privileges.
  2. At the command prompt, change directory to the Xoom folder, typically here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zany Ants\Xoom
  3. At the command prompt, type the following: DiagnosticSnapshot.exe XoomCorpus . The parameter (in this case XoomCorpus) is required to specify the path to the folder where the corpus will be created. If the folder already exists, it must be empty, otherwise an error will be reported and the process will be aborted.
  4. Compress the corpus folder using 7-Zip set to 'ultra' (or equivalent).
  5. Generate a support ticket and attach the zipped folder.
If Xoom will not start, create a support ticket providing as much information as you can, and Zany Ants will get in touch and provide further instructions.
